PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Ron is the founding Partner of Meyer and Brooks, P.A., Tallahassee, Florida.  His practice includes representation of employees, professionals and employee organizations in a broad range of legal proceedings.  Ron also devotes an extensive portion of his practice to representation of candidates and committees and advising and training organizations and associations on campaign finance and election law matters and the formation of political organizations.


Ron regularly appears  before administrative tribunals and state and federal trial and appellate courts.  He represents clients before  the Florida Elections Commission, the Federal Election Commission, the Board of Medicine, the Education Practices Commission, the Public Employees Relations Commission, National Labor Relations Board, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and other agencies, as well as in arbitration proceedings.

Previously a partner in the Tampa law firm of Frank and Meyer, P.A., Ron also served as in-house General Counsel for the Florida Teaching Profession-National Education Association [now known as the Florida Education Association (FEA)].  A significant part of his practice continues to be devoted to representing  teachers, education support professionals, public school administrators and school boards on a broad range of education issues.  He also regularly represents physicians, physician assistants, funeral directors and other professionals in employment, contracting, licensing and regulatory actions.
